A native Oregonian, Eva currently resides in Portland. She began shooting on film at the tender age of 15 and has been shooting on DSLRs since the age of 19. She has a BA in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University. Eva has worked with clients such as 7-Up, Teisseire, Martell Cognac, West Elm, Crate & Barrel, Anthropologie, Sunset Magazine, Finex Cookware, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Hachette Book Group, Abrams Books, California Olive Ranch, Vermont Creamery, AOL Lifestyle, and Green Giant.

Her love of recipe development and food styling can be credited to being raised in her parents' Greek restaurant and deli, which they owned and operated for over thirty years. There she learned that food can ignite excitement in even the most reserved individuals, and that most anything can be accomplished with a good amount of elbow grease.

She has written, styled, and photographed two cookbooks—the first one, Adventures in Chicken, came out in October 2016 with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and the second, My Adventures in Cooking, is due out in Spring 2018 with Abrams Books. She also photographed the Wicked Healthy cookbook which is due out in Spring 2018 with Hachette Book Group.

When she is not shooting and styling in the field, hosting photography workshops, or Secret Supper pop-up dinners, she enjoys tending to her garden, curling up with a good book, and traveling.
